Bibiani Gold Stars have climbed to the summit of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League standings at the end of Week 26.
The team over the weekend hosted Vision FC in their Week 26 fixture and secured all three points after a narrow 1-0 victory. Courtesy of the result, Gold Stars have claimed the top spot from Medeama Sporting Club.
Former league leaders Medeama SC on Sunday suffered another huge blow in the Ghana Premier League title race after losing 2-1 to Dreams FC away from home.
The defeat means the team from Tarkwa is now winless in their last six league matches. The disappointing slump in form has seen the team drop to second in the league table as they now trail Gold Stars by two points.
Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak, both on 42 points, follow in third and fourth places respectively, to stay in the title race heading into the last eight league matches of the season.
Dreams FC, Heart of Lions, and Holy Stars are among the mid-table clubs, while Hohoe United, Young Apostles, and Eleven Wonders make up the bottom three.
Below is the current Ghana Premier League table after Week 26.
