Ghanaian attacker Prince Amoako Junior played a key role as FC Nordsjaelland defeated Valur Reykjavik 5-0 in the UEFA Conference League qualifying round.
The Danish side completed a 7-0 aggregate victory, comfortably advancing after another dominant performance at Right to Dream Park.
Amoako Junior made his influence felt almost immediately, providing the assist for Hjalte Rasmussen’s opening goal in the fifth minute. His delivery helped Nordsjaelland establish control early and gave Valur a difficult challenge from the outset.
The home team continued to press and doubled its advantage just before half-time through Villum Berthelsen. Markus Walker then added a third goal in the 62nd minute, effectively ending any remaining hope of a Valur comeback.
Nordsjaelland added two more goals late in the match. Lamine Sadio scored in the 71st minute before Levy Nene completed the rout three minutes later. Amoako Junior was substituted shortly after, making way for Nene after another productive display.
The Ghanaian finished with five key passes and earned a strong Sofascore rating of 8.4, underlining his creativity and attacking importance. His performance provided another encouraging sign as Nordsjælland continue their European campaign with confidence and momentum.
