Young Apostles are reportedly pushing for the signing of former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Benjamin Twum as the club looks to strengthen its goalkeeping department.
The 20-year-old shot-stopper previously played for Young Apostles before joining Asante Kotoko in December 2024 and is now being considered for a return to his former club.
Twum initially made the move to Kotoko on a three-and-a-half-year deal after gaining recognition for his impressive performances in the Ghana Premier League. Before his transfer, the young goalkeeper played a key role in Young Apostles' promotion campaign, including standout performances in the playoffs.
He has also represented Ghana at the U-20 level with the Black Satellites, helping the team reach the final of the 2025 WAFU Zone B U-20 Championship.
With Young Apostles actively pushing for his signature, Twum faces a decision on his next move. A return to the club where he first made his name could offer him the opportunity for regular first-team football and a chance to continue his development.
For Young Apostles, re-signing Twum would represent a significant statement as they look to build a competitive squad for the upcoming season.
