Ghanaian midfielder Alex Opoku Sarfo of Aris Limassol has been linked with a move to Belgian side KV Kortrijk.
Sarfo, 21, plays as a defensive midfielder and has a contract with the Cypriot club until 31 May 2028. The reported interest comes after he returned to Aris at the end of June following a loan spell with Russian club Pari NN.
The Accra-born player joined Aris from Benab FC in July 2023 and spent the following season on loan at fellow Cypriot club AEZ Zakaki. He has since established a sizeable record in the Cyprus League, making 46 appearances and providing one assist.
Sarfo also made nine appearances in the league’s championship round, scoring once, and featured in four Kypello Kyprou matches. His current market value is listed at €1m.
Any move to Kortrijk would take the midfielder from the Cyprus League to Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League, although the link remains at the rumour stage and there has been no confirmation of an agreement between the clubs.
Aris regained Sarfo after his season with Pari NN, where he had moved on loan in September 2025. He remains under contract in Limassol for almost two more years.
