Four Ghana Premier League coaches have been shortlisted for the NASCO Coach of the Month Award for January after strong performances that kept their teams firmly competitive during the period.
The nominees are Kobina Amissah of Bechem United, Ibrahim Tanko of Medeama SC, Winfred Dormon of Dreams FC, and Christopher Ennin of FC Samartex 1996.
Amissah receives his first-ever nomination after steering Bechem United to three wins and a draw from four league matches. His side scored four goals and conceded only two during the month.
Tanko guided Medeama SC to an impressive run of four victories from five outings. The Tarkwa-based club found the net ten times while conceding four goals to maintain their position at the top of the table.
Dreams FC remained unbeaten in January under Dormon, recording two wins and three draws. The Dawu side scored eight goals and allowed just three in five matches.
Ennin also enjoyed a solid month with FC Samartex 1996, leading his team to three wins and one draw. Samartex were defensively solid, scoring five goals without conceding any.
The winner of the NASCO Coach of the Month Award will receive a 43-inch NASCO television set and a NASCO double-door fridge with a bottom freezer.
